If there was a question popped up in your mind about why I chose HELLO YORKE! as the title of my blog, and ITISTHOM as the name of my blog, there would be a single reason that will make your thoughts follow the further line of questions and these lines that I wrote. I just can say that I LOVE THOM YORKE.anyone does not know who he is?
well that's necessary to ask :) thom yorke is a guy who has spent most of his life time in Oxford, UK. Yup, he is a British guy, who currently has two kids, named Noah and Agnes, he has ever had his left eye paralyzed, but his father brought him to the doctor and got it fixed by doing some eye muscular surgery. He has an incredible band, called RADIOHEAD, and a genius, yet highly impossible brain that one could have. Why should I say this? I've been thinking and believing that he is a professor of music, I adore every of his piece. He is a guy who is recognisable of his distinctive tenor voice, vibrato, frequent use of falseto and ability, and sustain notes over a wide vocal range, for the further info, you can go to his band's official site ;)
I've been listening to Radiohead's songs since I was in the fourth grade. It was the song Creep that have made me fallen for Radiohead's music.
here is a little flashback of memory that I have, when I was a 9 year old kid who begged her mom for the Pablo Honey cassette at a music store in a mall:
"Mom, can I buy this cassette?", she then shoved her look towards the yellow-ish cover of the cassette.
"What music is this? do you even know the songs? or do you just get youself attracted to the picture in the cover?", fyi, the cover of Radiohead's Pablo Honey album was a picture of babyboy with, I have thought that it was a sunflower hat, but it is not, it's just like yellow-ish thingy circling the baby's head, make it looked more like a sunflower haha.
"Of course I knew what songs I would like to listen in this cassette!"
"What's the title? Sing it"
"One of them titled Creep, I've ever listened to the song before, I just don't know the lyrics, mom"
"Okay, are you sure?"
"I'm sure I want to buy this"
Then there it goes, the first time I listened to a, once, admitted as a massive hit in the era.
but I knew it, my mom cannot ever stand to hear the noises in every music that I like. When I played the cassette in the car on the way back home, with mom and pop, my mom could not stand it and decided to turn off the player, when "You", the first track has already played halfway. then I have never ever played any Radiohead's when there was my mom seating, standing, sleeping anywhere near the music player, or then I should use earphones to let her be without the music.
It was started with Pablo Honey, and I've always been adoring every piece of Radiohead's or even YORKE's, when he did an experimental solo project, the Eraser. it didnt change my favor listening to their tracks. I love them even more. I dont know, I just think that Thom Yorke is such a genius in music, everything he did have always brought me to the biggest excitements and surprises.
afterall, I have Thom Yorke as one of my biggest inspirations, one of my massive influences in the music lurve that I live. thank you, Sir Yorke! :)
See you in the next entries, people! love,
Pyorke.
